Uhhhh Grant have you ever been in a Speed3? I'm fairly certain you haven't otherwise you would make no such comments. I'll allow for your ignorance and excuse your comment about a tuned wrx smoking a speed3!

I don't have actual numbers but I know this we got to 140 QUICK and it was still pulling hard!! I have never been in your car but have driven a wrx before (not tuned to the level of yours but tuned nonetheless) and it wasn't even close to the Speed3. If your going to trash talk say something like "Clinton I'll smoke your Mini like Sunday's ham!!" and that would be believable trash talk. Could you beat a stock Speed3...there's a possibility, the numbers are close enough. Could you beat CRHavoc in a Speed3...highly doubtful!!

yeah i will, heres the specs on the speed 3 including stock dyno results, read it and weep fool. haha only 20% of its power between 2k and redline ahahaha. read if you dont believe me and thats 20% of 216 whp lol. I have ~285-290 awhp and my vf22 holds boost like crazy all the way to redline

and if you read the article, the speed 3 has no power below 3000 or after 5500 so sure its quick for 2500 rpms my suby with the vf22 is laggy down low also, but i have crazy power from 3500 all the way to redline. i dont think ive ever seen it drop below 17 pounds at redline i love this turbo

Thanks for the compliment Mike. That evo is pretty impressive as well. I think that grant should run Alex's RSX. I wouldnt underestimate that car...and besides you have the unbeatable vf22

haha its definitely not unbeatable, but its still a very nice turbo, but that doesn't mean i wont be upgrading though

i might just upgrade to a 18g or 20g. just need bigger injectors but idk if i want that much lag, im going for a balanced car not straight up demonic power

in fact if you can get me a 2871 that will just bolt up to my stock up/down pipe then i would do that for sure!!!

I don't know about you, but in a race the only time I'm under 2500 is well NEVER, because I launch at 2500 then the engine rpms never go below 3000 or so when I shift. Second if your going to compare the car stock then lets look at your car stock. Horsepower 227 torque 217 at the flywheel for a fair comparison, Max HP is at 6000RPM and Max torque is at 4000RPM.

Compared to a stock speed 3, Horsepower 263 and here's the one that really gets you moving Torque 283 at the flywheel, Max HP is at 5500RPM and Torque is at 3000RPM.

Now to be fair your car weighs 200 lbs less and is AWD so you have a little easier time from a dig when my wheels just hop and spin, but the shear power and gearing allows me to win at the quarter.

If you watch all of the videos on youtube the WRX never stands a chance from a roll

im sure you can beat a stock 03 wrx but not mine , even from a role, and a stock 06+ wrx TR actually run a better 1/4 than the speed3 but the stock 02-05 wrx dont cause they dont have the ej255. ive seen 06 TR wrx's run 13.3 with just a turboback, intake, and ecu flash

i fixed up my fmic lol. it looks wayyyyy better thanks to mikes needle nose pliers thanks man ill try n take some pics of it tomorrow
