the only thing is flagstaff is not lowered/bodykit friendly lol so that splitter would get messed up pretty bad with all these steep entrances everywhere lol ill start with just the canards first haha

Why don't you start with another set of cheap wheels and some decent snow tires. It's money well spent if your going to live here for a few years.

hey my tires arent cheap!, they may not be the best but hey sorry if i dont have 3k to spare for some volks, mine are wider than stock, they look nice, and i like them so yeah. there actually is a set of 17" gold OZ prodrives in az for sale. 600 with tires but idk, i think the tranny is more important.

idk if you all heard but i found an 04 sti tranny for 2350 shipped, and its got the driveshaft, linkage, axles, rear diff and everything, im going to check and see exactly what all it comes with, and im gonna talk to travis at snail performance and ask him what all i need and see if and when he would be able to hook it up, but im totally stoked lol and i can sell my stock tranny for 800-1000 and get alot back hell yeah!!!

I don't think that's what he meant. I think he was saying to buy a second set of rims for snow tires. You can buy expensive one if you want, but I would just buy some cheap ones.

CRHavoc is right as to what I ment. Yeah Grant it is a trash talking thread but trash doesn't always have to be posted. I'm serious though get a set of cheap wheels and wrap them with some thin Xice Michelin tires. That set up on an AWD in the snow would definately be sick. I know, I have a set for the Mini and when they are on and in the snow they turn the Mini into a snowmobile...wanna talk about sure-footedness try it with your car. AWD is great for snow but if you got summer performance tires in the snow you might as well have slicks. I truely was thinking about how much you love your car and thought that snow tires would be a good investment. All it takes is for you to slide into a curb and bust a short shaft or wheel bearing as well as a rim.

BOS BTW you call them badges I call them stickers, what's the deal if you call them badges they give you more hp?

lol yeah i was already thinkin about some rims n tires, i have all seasons on mine right now, if i had money i would def get those gold prodrives

and badges are better than stickers, stickers are cheap sticky papers. mine are official chrome/pink sti badges lol they look wayyyyy better than stickers

also sti is not a car, its a company, Subaru Technica International. the wrx sti is just a wrx with sti parts in it lol, and seeing as mine has a few sti parts in it and is going to have more sti parts, or better than sti parts, the badges are simply stating that my car is packin some sti shit! and that its as fast as or faster than an sti, which it will be by like 70whp lol its the same as you all buying lets say idk a greddy part and putting a greddy sticker on your car.

The equivelent to STI for the Mini is JCW (John Cooper Works). After I'm done with the turbo stroker project I'm only adding a body kit to help with areodynamics. That is the only change that will be noticable but everything else will be sleeper. I'm even sheeting the entire underside with carbon fiber to help lessen drag. It not a goal of mine to advertise what's up with my car, I'd rather have them catch up to me and ask!
