Car bogging? 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
I have a 1995 240sx with a s14 blacktop sr20det. When i punch it, it just falls on its face and boggs for a little bit then will eventually take off. I replaced th fuel pump, new alternator, and checked for boost leaks. Does anyone know what could be wrong, or where i could take it to have it diagnosed? Some where that will not rip me off an empty my pocket?

Have you checked the battery? Our car did that and we replaced the battery and it worked. Also check the sparkplugs and wires and the ignition coil and make sure it's all tight or even still good. also pull your fuel lines and check for full flow, pull your injectors and clean them. if its not any of that it could be electrical, or your throttle body. i would have to ride with you and see what its doin for sure and i could help ya out to the best of my abilities

I would talk to James at flag honda (mitsured on the site) He would probably help you out and diagnose the problem without bs-ing and upselling you. There are several things it could be. Like Grayson said I'd check your spark plugs, wiring, and injectors. Doesn't sounds like a fuel problem since you replaced the pump but it could be somewhere in the fuel line. Also, check your TPS. Good luck!
